A good quality machine-made paper, Usu Kuchi has been dried on an iron surface and so may have small iron spots appear over time. Very absorbent, great for dyeing, suminagashi, printmaking or chine colle. Best used for experimentation or where potential spots won't matter. Usu Kuchi Light is great for dyeing, printmaking or chine colle, highly translucent - lovely in layers.
