Welcome to the world of acrylics! We’ll start simple - creating a colour wheel and grey scale to get a handle on colour mixing and controlling saturation and tone. We’ll move on to copying very simple photographs - an apple, and basic landscapes. Touching on subjects such as light and shadow, atmospheric perspective and composition, our projects will remain simple enough to get a handle on basic principles and techniques. David will be doing painting demonstrations and helping students problem-solve their way through their work. Bring your grubby clothes and get ready to get your hands dirty!
