This introductory course features a brief outline of the history of calligraphy, pens, papers, inks, tools, and supplies. Participants will learn how to create two different fonts: Engrosser's Script and Chancery Italic Script, and will be given take-home guides. We'll also explore your natural writing style and learn what your handwriting reveals. Learn how you can use calligraphy for creative projects. Each participant will make a decorative monogram.
