Greg Denton
Greg Denton (born in Wolfville, Nova Scotia) is an artist who has been living in Guelph for the past 30 years. He holds a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design (NSCAD, 1990) and an MFA from the University of Guelph (1996). He has taught art classes at NSCAD, the University of Waterloo, and most extensively in the School of Fine Art & Music at the University of Guelph (1996-2017). He is best known for his large serial portrait ensembles: “Out of Date: 365 Self-Portraits” (1999), “anyone lived..” 400 portraits (2000) – in the collection of the Art Gallery of Guelph, “Out of Pocket: 632 pocket sketchbook portraits” (2014), “100 Portraits, 100 Poppies: Sitting in Remembrance” (2015) – painted as City of Guelph Artist in Residence to commemorate the 100th anniversary of John McCrae’s poem “In Flanders Fields”, “Hours” (2016) – 21 portraits representing 126 hours of labour, “My Days Are Numbered: 365 Self-portrait sketches” (2017), “Red/Blue Paintings” (2017), “Baby Baby Paintings: 100 portraits of a baby doll” (2018), and other projects. Marjan Kaviani-AraniMarjan Kaviani, a Canadian-Iranian artist, was born in Toronto, Ontario. Primarily an oil painter, her art explores the intricate dimensions of humanity and the body. She received her BA honours in Studio Art with a minor in Psychology from the University of Guelph in 2024 and currently works in Guelph, Ontario.
In 2024, she has had solo shows at the Guelph Civic Museum, and her artistic endeavors have received support from the Ontario Arts Council and the Guelph Arts Council.

Peter SkoggardPeter Skoggard is a composer and artist living in Elora since 1985. He has written two chamber opers, an Oratorio, a piano quintet, an orchestral sweet, over eighty art songs, and piano pieces. He musical works gave been performed in Elora, Guelph, Toronto, Cleveland, and New York City. During Covid, he drew over a thousand self portraits, and afterwards, over two hundred portraits of others.
