Something special was created in 1911 with the Kaweco Sport: a pocket fountain pen that was only 10.5 cm tall when closed and could therefore be easily carried with you, but grew to a normal size when the cap was put on. At that time, the pen was particularly advertised for noble society in evening wear and sports people. That's why it was called sport.
The series offers classic and historical colors and is also characterized by the gold-plated steel nib, the logo cap and the high-quality, gold hot foil stamping.
The Kaweco Sport is now also available as a contemporary Skyline and Frosted series. In contrast to the Classic series, the pens are refined with silver accents, such as a high-quality name embossing and a silver metal logo on the head of the cap.
We recommend nib size M for beginners. All springs are made in Germany.
Writing instruments from the Sport series are produced and assembled in Germany and are a real quality product.
Sepp Herberger was one of the most famous users. The then coach of the German national soccer team put his winning tactics, which led to the World Cup title in 1954, on paper with the Kaweco Sport.
