“I am interested in the complexities of entangled spaces, the intrigue of partially recognizable forms, and the importance of shape within the natural landscape. Through this lens I have explored ideas of claustrophobia, otherness, and over-looked natural occurrences . I am captivated by how any ecosystem can be a globalizing force while also being a very individualistic experience. This mirrors the complexities of identity: our relationship with the land and recognizing the impacts on our sense of self. I am interested in moments, in the types of arrangements that will never exist in the same way again.”
