Danny Fury is a self taught multidisciplinary artist and musician living in Guelph and working at Wyndham Art Supplies.
"Welcome To The Void" is a body of work consisting of 14 paintings all created in 2025, playing with different mediums and design elements and textures with a monochromatic color palette.
“There was a moment this year when the smoke from forest fires created such a thick haze, I stared directly into the sun thinking it was a strange red moon. I had a vision of a post apocalyptic, charred world with no life or anything green left, only the red light of an ancient sun through clouds of smoke. I couldn't get the image out of my head. It was haunting.
I use art and music as a way to see things more clearly when I try to navigate through the haze. Even though my art is monochromatic and sometimes a little doomy, its my way of seeing the sunlight through the darkness.”
